A year of progress and partnership.
As 2025 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on our journey at RESiLICON and share my gratitude for the progress we’ve made together.
This year, we took important steps towards establishing Europe’s first renewable‑powered polysilicon plant, strengthening supply chains for solar, batteries, and semiconductors.
- We have unwavering support and significant contributions from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministerie van Klimaat en Groene Groei, provincie Groningen, Groningen Seaports, NV NOM, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development, Nij Begun, among others.
- We secured key partnerships with Advanced Material Solutions as our technology provider and Fluor Corporation as our engineering partner.
- We continue to expand our team of experts to drive this essential project forward.
- We are already working on securing permits (with guidance from Haskoning and Omgevingsdienst Groningen, and future funding with KPMG Nederland.
I want to take this opportunity to thank our partners, supporters, and team members who share our vision. Your collaboration and commitment make our progress possible.
We are incredibly proud of the impact this initiative can have, not only on Europe’s industrial resilience but also on our investors, customers, and the Province of Groningen.
Looking ahead, 2026 will be a year of building momentum, turning our vision into reality, and proving that the Netherlands and Europe can secure the strategic raw materials it needs for future prosperity and security. Together, we will make it happen.
As we head into the holiday season, I wish you all a joyful break and a prosperous start to 2026.
