As the leading association for the European solar PV sector, SolarPower Europe brings together industry and policymakers to support the growth of solar as a core pillar of Europe’s energy system.

For RESiLICON, this is an important step to engage with fellow members, policymakers and other stakeholders, and to contribute to a resilient, low-carbon and competitive European solar supply chain.

This builds on RESiLICON’s broader involvement across the European ecosystem, including organisations such as European Solar Manufacturing Council, European Semiconductor Industry Association and SEMI.

As Europe strengthens its solar manufacturing base, the availability of high-quality, locally produced polysilicon is becoming increasingly relevant. RESiLICON is working to support this through the development of ultra-pure polysilicon production in Europe, serving the semiconductor, solar and energy storage sectors.

Through its membership of SolarPower Europe, RESiLICON looks forward to contributing to the dialogue and working with other members across the value chain.
